Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Urban Fungi s.r.o. ("we", "us"), a company registered in the Czech Republic, collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the Dream Language application (the "App"), available as a web app and an Android app.

1. Data We Collect

Account data: When you create an account, we collect your e-mail address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, e-mail address, and profile picture from Google.

Content you create: Dream journal entries, emotions, symbols, notes, and related content you record in the App.

Usage data: Basic technical information such as device type, app version, language setting, and interaction events needed to operate and improve the App.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: (a) provide the core functionality of the App, including storing your dream journal and generating AI-assisted interpretations; (b) authenticate you and secure your account; (c) manage subscriptions and payments; (d) improve the App and fix issues; (e) comply with legal obligations.

3. AI Processing

When you request an interpretation, the text of your dream entry is processed by an AI language model provider acting as our data processor. Your entries are not used to train third-party AI models and are transmitted solely to generate your interpretation.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure hosted in the European Union. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is strictly limited.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the App (hosting, authentication, payment processing, AI processing), each bound by data processing agreements, or where required by law.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, export, restrict, object to processing of, and delete your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in the App under Settings, or by contacting us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in the Czech Republic: ÚOOÚ, uoou.gov.cz).

7. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data and journal content are permanently removed from our production systems within 30 days.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App. The current version is always available at this address.
