Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dream Language application (the "App"), operated by Urban Fungi s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Dream Language is a personal dream journaling and reflection tool. It lets you record dreams and daily check-ins and generates AI-assisted interpretations and pattern insights. The App is intended for self-reflection and entertainment only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are in distress or need help, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

2. Eligibility and Account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Your Content

You retain all rights to the dream entries, notes, and other content you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store and process Your Content solely to operate the App and to provide the features you request, including generating interpretations. We do not sell Your Content and do not use it to train third-party AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to access other users' data; (c) reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the App or its infrastructure; (d) resell or redistribute the App or AI outputs as a competing service; (e) upload content that is illegal or infringes the rights of others.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

The App offers a free tier and a paid Premium subscription, available as a monthly or annual plan. Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may include applicable taxes.

Payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. Paddle handles payment, invoicing, and tax collection, and its own terms apply to the transaction.

Automatic renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price, using your saved payment method, until you cancel. You authorise these recurring charges when you subscribe.

Plan changes: You may switch between monthly and annual plans in the App. Changes take effect according to the proration rules shown at the time of the change.

Price changes: We may change subscription prices. We will notify you in advance, and the new price will apply only from your next renewal. You can cancel before renewal if you do not accept the new price.

Failed payments: If a payment fails, Premium access may be suspended until payment succeeds. Some users hold complimentary lifetime Premium access granted by us; such access can be withdrawn only in the event of abuse.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription in the App or through the billing portal link in your Paddle receipt. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period: you keep Premium access until that date, and no further charges are made. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account or data — you can delete your account separately at any time via account deletion.

7. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the App available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may add, modify, or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature in a way that materially reduces the value of your subscription, you may cancel and request a pro-rata refund for the unused period.

9. AI Outputs

Interpretations, symbols, and insights are generated automatically by AI language models. They are interpretive suggestions, not statements of fact, and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for how you act on them.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer under EU and Czech law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, or if required by law. Where we terminate without cause, we will refund any unused prepaid subscription period.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Czech Republic.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the App before they take effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
